**Course Description from Catalog:**

**Math 0308:** Topics for all formats include basic algebraic operations,
elementary equations,

laws of integral exponents, factoring and radical notation, rational expressions
and an

introduction to the Cartesian coordinate system. This course carries
institutional credit but

will not transfer and will not be used to meet degree requirements.

**Math 0310:** Topics for all formats include special products and factoring,
rational expressions

and equations, rational exponents, radicals, radical equations, quadratic
equations and

complex numbers , an introduction to the function concept and graphing, equations
of lines

and linear systems. This course carries institutional credit but will not
transfer and will not be

used to meet degree requirements.
